Leading sports technology company Sportradar has announced a new data deal with innovative sports-bet entertainment company FanDuel. The new agreement will see Sportradar supply its official NBA data to FanDuel. According to the terms, the partnership will last until the end of the 2030/2031 season. FanDuel will also leverage supplementary betting services from Sportradar. The two companies agreed to extend their initial data agreement signed in August 2021, which allows FanDuel to continue benefiting from Sportradar’s data and odds. FanDuel Group’s President Christian Genetski commented about the new partnership, iterating that offering "unrivaled experiences for customers" is still the priority for the company. Genetski added that it was "critically important" to tie the commitment to NBA basketball with substantial reinvestment in innovation.
FanDuel is one of the leading sports offering in North America and intends to stay so in the coming years. The company plans to invest in enhancing its offering and is excited to continue the partnership with Sportradar. The CEO acknowledged that Sportradar data is a "strategic element" in FanDuel's customer experiences and brings long-term stability to the company. The duo expects their new collaboration to enhance betting experiences for punters through innovative products and offerings. According to Sportradar, the due will be able to use player tracking data to create props and improve same-game parlays. FanDuel will also leverage the LCT (Live Channel Trading) product from Sportradar.
The new partnership between Sportradar and FanDuel will last into 2031 and is great timing. The North American sports betting market is continuously expanding, with more opportunities opening in new states. Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl commented about the collaboration, describing FanDuel as “an exceptional partner." FanDuel, the largest operator in North America, has shown its trust in Sportradar’s products and services by extending the agreement. Carsten added that Sportradar is "excited to continue the collaboration," which is set to boost the monetization of the company's deal with NBA.
